Dr. Battat also leads one of the largest IBD clinical trial programs in Canada to provide patients with more novel treatment options and approaches.
He serves as a peer reviewer for more than 20 scientific journals, sits on multiple editorial boards and contributes to European guidelines for the management of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. He is also a frequent speaker at national and international medical conferences.
